Troubleshooting

Q: I'm trying to install AllReports and the installation doesn't go past the fonts?
A: Click here to download AllReports without fonts.

Q: When I open AllReports I receive the following error:"Cannot preform this operation on an open database" ?
A: Uninstall AllReports and reinstall under the following directory: C:\Users\Public\Documents|Intuit\QuickBooks\.

Q: When I click the run button AllReports I receive the following error:"QuickBooks is not running?
A: Uninstall AllReports and QBFC 6.0 and reinstall under the following directory: C:\Users\Public\Documents|Intuit\QuickBooks\.

Q: I'm using Vista and I can't not save files to my local C Drive?
A: The files need to be saved as follows:

Q: After I load my QuickBooks data the employees do not have Social Security Numbers?
A: To correct this error in QuickBooks choose Edit, Preferences then Integrated Applications.

Click on Company Preferences tab and highlight AllReports then choose Properties.

Make sure the access rights have a check mark in "this application to access Social Security Numbers". Then reload the data.

Q: QuickBooks will not allow AllReports to become a Intregrated Application?
A: Go into QuickBooks and choose Edit, Preferences then Intregrated Applications and make sure there isn't a check mark in "Don't allow any applications to access this company file"

Q: After I click load data and error appears that says "Class not registered"?
A: Intuit requires us to install software from them with our installation to be an Intregrated Application. The error occurs if you were logged in as one user on your computer when you installed AllReports then tried to use it logged in under a user. Once you are signed in on your computer install AllReports. Another explaination is that you downloaded the update versus the setup. You must install the setup on a computer that hasn't had AllReports installed on it.


Q: I loaded my Peachtree data and AllReports didn't bring in the amounts for my section 125?
A: When entering the tax field name there cannot be any spaces in the name. Go into Peachtree and remove any spaces in the tax field name and then reload the data.


Q: I get the message "Connection not established. Is Peachtree and company open?"?
A: Peachtree only looks in the default dictory for the data file. Move a copy of the data into the Peachtree default directory then restart your computer and open the company and try loading the data again.
